This is a Limited Edition Custom 22 guitar. This model was made in a limited run of only 50 guitars.
The Custom 22 is one of the famous PRS guitar designs. It´s the 22 fret version (Custom 24 is the 24 fret model) with typical 25" scale, mahogany back and neck and flamed maple top. There were a lot of options, like 10-top, bird inlays, trem, different neck shapes and many more.
"Paul Reed Smith" built his first guitar 1975 in college and started his company in 1985 in Annapolis, Maryland, after building two prototypes and getting several orders from guitar dealers. In 1995 they moved to their current location Stevensville. Since 2001 PRS offers Korean-made guitars (SE Series) too.
Some years ago "Paul Reed Smith" stopped the production of left handed guitars.
